Kekas is a small 32 acre family farm nestled within a beautiful valley in North East Kentucky. Our goal is a return to the basics of small sustainable farming. We have carefully combined animals that possess outstanding genetic diversity, breed type and sound easy going temperaments along with the traits that allow them to thrive on free grazing, with ease of feed conversion to body mass.
Our animals here at Kekas Farms are raised with great attention given to their happiness, health and wellbeing. We have done our homework and believe that each of these breeds will balance out the others here on the farm. We are not attempting to follow any trends or current fads on hobby farm animals. We are true to the tradition of balance and harmony among the animals under our care. Each fills a niche in the overall design of sustainable living that can work within the limitations of land and budget with the rewards being an incredibly rewarding life on a farm that works for our family and our animals.
